Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids is a capsule collection for children designed by Disney, Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney. It is inspired by Disney’s forthcoming revived version of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in which Jolie is playing Maleficent alongside Elle Fanning who is playing Princess Aurora.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother and I grew up watching all the films like most kids did,” said McCartney, who collaborated with Disney back in 2010 for a costume jewelry line for “Alice in Wonderland” and who featured Disney characters in her fall 2009 ad campaign. “When the opportunity presented itself and I was invited by Angelina Jolie to visit the film set, I jumped at the chance.”
