Q: So what’s it like in this season?

With this season, well we pick up with Ygritte at the beginning of this season being a very, very different character. I mean, she’s a changed woman, she is a scorned woman and we all know that scorned women are dangerous, so, especially in the world of Westeros. So yeah, she is on a ruthless mission now and she’s going to make sure that Jon Snow pays.

Q: Do you get a chance to say, “You know nothing, Jon Snow,” this season?

I think I get a chance every season, I think yes, I do indeed.

Q: Tell us about immersing yourself into this world, what is that process like?

It’s been a wonderful process. Being a part of this show is amazing because you get to travel to some extraordinary locations such as Iceland, so  it’s a very easy thing to immerse yourself into north of the Wall, into this magical world, just because you look around you and the landscape is breath-taking in Iceland so it’s a lovely, lovely kind of transition and fairly easy.

Q: Tell me emotionally where is your character? Angry?

Very much so. Angry and she’s now fearless, she feels as if she’s got nothing to lose because it’s the classic tale of betrayal, really of female betrayal and she believed everything that Jon Snow was telling her and she felt that they were going to have a life together. Because that did not work out she’s now on a one-track mind, on a one-track mission to get him back.
