Papoose has been grappling for the spotlight since he took the Hot 97 Summer Jam stage by storm last summer–which really turned out to be Kendrick Lamar doing his longtime acquaintance a favor–dissing Lamar (ironically), Big Sean and others.
This weekend, Pap took the time to re-iterate that he was the best rapper in New York–certainly better than Jay Z–and today he put those sentiments on wax. DJ Premier–who hosted Papoose’s NYC Nacirema Dream listening party years ago–links back up with the mixtape veteran for his take on the current state of things. You can listen to it below.
