Conde Nast has finally settled their lawsuit with two former interns. After a very public debacle, the publishing company quietly settled with the two interns from W and The New Yorker Magazine, who claimed they had been paid below minimum wage. 
CEO Charles Townsend spoke about the highly scrutinized situation, “We are, and have always been, extremely proud of the internship experiences that were offered at Condé Nast,” . “The training and contacts our interns received at Condé Nast helped many begin successful careers here and elsewhere.”
Conde Nast owns the companies Vogue, Glamour, Self, Lucky and GQ. Although, the company has garnered a lot of bad attention, they are adamant that this wont slow them down. Noting that it will be their mission to , “devote [their] time and resources towards developing meaningful, new opportunities to support up-and-coming talent,” Townsend.
