Welp.
A lot has happened concerning Donald Sterling and the Los Angeles Clippers over the past couple days, and our summation won’t really do it justice, but here it is in a nutshell. In an act of vengeance, Donald Sterling’s girlfriend hours and hours of his racist rants, and TMZ was able to acquire it. In the ten minute clip they acquired, among speaking in a blatantly racist manner about black people and minority races in general, Sterling specifically asked his girlfriend to stop associating herself with Magic Johnson, and black people in general.
Today, Sterling was banned from the league for the rest of his life, and automatically, the bidding war on the Clippers has begun. It appeared justice was continually being served in a systematic manner, but karma has hit somewhat of a roadblock.
Sterling is not selling.
Jim Gray, a popular sportscaster, apparently had a conversation with Sterling after everything went down, and he can confirm that according to Donald Sterling, he is not selling the Clippers. You can catch the official report here.
