The Source TV was granted the opportunity to speak with record producer and DJ Just Blaze.

You may know Just Blaze from cuts like Jay Z‘s “U Don’t Know”, Cam’ron‘s “Oh Boy” or from newer work, lik Drake‘s “Lord Knows” & Kendrick Lamar‘s “Compton”.  Either way, there’s no denying the marks Blaze, whose real name is Justin Smith, has left on the genre or the moments he’s created.  In a candid interview with The Source’s Spencer Stein, he spoke on the love he’s recently developed over the past two years for music festivals, and the origin of the versatile style he’s showcased for the majority of his career.  He described himself as a bridge between electronic and hip hop, going on to say “As long as the music is good, that’s all that matters”.
