Over the weekend, Howard University’s commencement ceremony featured thousands of matriculating undergraduate students, and one man who would be receiving an honorary doctorate degree from the school he left to be an intern at Uptown Records 24 years ago. That man was Puff Daddy, better known as Diddy, and in just under 38 minutes, he delivered one of the most important and inspirational speeches he will probably ever deliver in Washington D.C. as one of the day’s keynote speakers.
