Drake & Rihanna‘s off-and-on (mainly off) romance of the past 4 years is of both the sweet make-you-go-aww, and the ‘WTF?’ nature, and as per a report from US Weekly, we’ve reached the ‘WTF?’ stage once again.
According to an exclusive report to US Weekly, Drake and Rihanna have called it quits, at least for the time being, because of the following reasons, as per a source close to the situation.
Rihanna and Drake had another fight. He is too in love with her, which has always been the problem. They have been fighting, but that could all change any day now. It is how it always is with them.
Dating back to Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later, which was released in the summer of 2010, Drizzy has talked–on and off wax–about his sometimes-y relationship with the superstar pop artist. On the album’s introductory track, “Fireworks”, which featured Alicia Keys, Drake rapped:
I can tell it wasn’t love, I just thought you’d f*ck with me
Who coulda predicted Lucky Strike would have you stuck with me
Damn, I kept my wits about me, luckily
What happened between us that night
It always seems to trouble me
Now all of a sudden these gossip blogs want to cover me
And you making it seem that it happened that way because of me
From then on, parts of music could be used as a litmus test for his and Rihanna’s relationship. For example, on one of his more recent cuts, “Days In The East” Drake dedicated pretty much the entire second half of the record to his current dealings with Rihanna, so it’ll be interesting to see how he comments on these events.
