Dude is going to fight ’til the end.
Donald Sterling has sent a letter to the NBA saying he will not be paying the $2.5 million dollar fine handed down to him by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, and he will be countering the lifetime ban that was simultaneously handed down with a lawsuit, according to sources.
This comes a few days after Sterling went on Anderson Cooper 360 for one of the most anticipated interviews Cooper’s ever done, and completely face-planted. He made it his business to alter the interview to give him the room to dig into Magic Johnson for having “those AIDS”, and make unsubstantiated claims that Johnson has never done anything to help or support the black community, especially its underprivileged members.
According to Sterling, he was “baited” into making those statements.
