Nicki Minaj has torched 2014’s airwaves with everything from grimy trap anthems (See: “Chi-Raq”), to aggressive adaptations of viral sensations (See: “Boss Ass B*tch”), to scary good remixes (See: “Danny Glover RMX”), and finally as of tomorrow morning, her first single from her upcoming The Pinkprint album, “Pills & Potions”, will be here.
The artwork for the single (picture above right) was released yesterday, and now that the release date is looming, Nicki Minaj has taken to her Twitter to answer fans inquiries about her new single, which will set the tone for her upcoming album cycle. Many have speculated whether or not she will return to her pop persona, which is where she’s experienced the most success as of late, or whether or not she’ll continue down the road she’s travelled for much of the year, which involves rappity-rapping over just about everything she comes across, showing off her emcee skills in grand fashion.
We pulled some of the Q&A’s from Nicki’s Twitter to help give you an idea of what the single will be like, as if you needed your anticipation to be built any more.
