Last night was rough for the Indiana Pacers, after squandering a double-digit first half lead and allowing the Miami Heat to come into their building and steal away home-court advantage in the Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
It was even rougher for Lance Stephenson.
The New York City-native All-Star snub played at an extremely high level in the middle quarters of last night’s game, and he even found a way to play dead in between field goals. The NBA has fined Lance Stephenson $5,000 this morning for violating their “anti-flop policy”, but flop doesn’t quite do his actions justice. After falling to the ground in grand hyperbolic fashion, Stephenson proceeded to–for lack of a better term–“be sleep”, or play dead, whichever is more appropriate. Watch the hilarious video below.
