Oh, snaps. Lil’ Wayne is having fun in the studio again. Today, the YMCMB boss released “Tina Turn Up Needs A Tune Up.” Over a snappy backdrop, Weezy has listeners snapping their necks and smiling while he plays with the beat and admits that he’s a hater as he raps:
“Oh, so he ain’t hear his phone ring?/Oh, so he ain’t hear his phone ring/Oh, so he ain’t hear his phone ring?/But, he hear yours when it’s on vibrate/You with that n**** he don’t wanna to see you with/Tell his a** you on a blind date/Tell his a** you on a blind date/Well, I’m still hating, tell him I said it.”
While this freestyle is a good stress reliever, let’s hope that Lil’ Weezyaina is taking a studio break from recording the highly anticipated The Carter V and he gets back to spitting that “D’ussee “ and “Believe Me” type bars that he recently delivered. It appears “Tina Turn Up Needs A Tune Up” may make an appearance on Tha Carter V, but we don’t know for sure.
