Wiz Khalifa’s “We Dem Boyz” Remix To Feature Nas

Didn’t see this coming.

Wiz Khalifa and Nas couldn’t be more different. The hard-nosed, lyrics first veteran from Queensbridge, who just celebrated the 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, Illmatic, just over a month ago can hardly be compared to the happy-go-lucky, weed connoisseur with more melodies and catchy choruses than he has cars, but for the first time, they’ll be collaborating.

Just a day after performing for a packed house at Metlife Stadium for Summer Jam, Wiz Khalifa revealed to Hot 97 that Nas will in fact be appearing on the remix to the infectious lead single from his upcoming third album, Blacc Hollywood.

His reasoning for the unlikely but sure to be dope remix?

Because you know why I got Nas, man. Nas is the original bottle popper, designer, clothes rocker, weed smoker, young, fly nigga. He was doing all that, spitting. He was like putting that out there in a way niggas never heard that before. And I feel like our generation they need to re-see that from Nas. And like know him from that.

No word on when the remix will be dropping, but look out for it.
