What a conversation this must have been.
Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan? Prior to just a few years ago, before Lebron James was brought into the conversation, this was the question all the basketball heads and sports nerds were asking each other. With the game on the line, who do you give the ball to? If you have to choose between the two in an NBA Draft, who do you pick first? Who will finish with more rings? Would Jordan have done it without Pippen? Kobe without Shaq? The inquiries are boundless, and despite downplaying their “rivalry” at every opportunity, there’s no doubt that, even though Kobe’s missed out on the majority of the past two seasons, the comparisons between him and MJ will never cease.
Last night, at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills, the two superstars had dinner together, and were photographed by TMZ leaving the steakhouse together. What do you think these two talked about? We wish we could’ve been there for that one.
Kobe: You know, Phil’s in NY now.
MJ: Yeah, I heard.
