We first featured Lil’ Kim in our October 1996 issue, which happened to have Tupac on the cover. She had only been 21 for a few months but ready for the world. Very direct and upfront about her relationship with her best friend, Biggie’s wife Faith Evans. She spoke of being a fan of Faith Evan’s music, and the jitters of releasing her first professional solo album.
