The World Cup may be over, but we can still play soccer.
Audi and legendary FC Bayern Munich players hosted an epic soccer pick-up battle at Brooklyn Bridge Park between two teams of twenty in celebration of tonight’s Audi Football Summit. The teams were spearheaded by FC Bayern Munich Legends Giovane Elber, Markus Babbel, Paul Breitner and Paulo Sergio and were separated into two colors: WHITE – Josh Henderson (Dallas), Chris Thompson(Vampire Weekend), Stacey Griffith (SoulCycle), and teammates; and RED – Kevin McHale (Glee), Alexandria Morgan (model – TOM TOM’s campaign), and teammates.
Overlooking the NYC skyline, both teams competed in the fun and informal pick-up game, with the WHITE team taking the winning shot. Other high-profile attendees include: Broadway legend Daniel Gerrol, playwright and novelist Damian Lanigan.
