It’s rare that producers get the recognition that they deserve. Part of the reason is that you may hear a dope song with a sick beat but then you go off looking for more music by the rapper, not the producer. Today, we have the remedy. Chicago producer, Sani, delivers his first instrumental album of 21 beats that should have you rushing to brush off your rhyme book. If not, then at least a cold one to relax and enter a deep state of thought. They may not be turn up music, but then again who needs more of that stuff, anyway? It rots your teeth. Instead, the 2080 (formerly 2008ighties) producer touches on a timeless part of your soul, however old or young you are. This is what lounges should be playing at nights.
But before I get carried away, I’ll let the producer explain the project himself: “After a year of building, now feels like the appropriate time to reveal the workings of this new style of production being deveolped. I wanted to expose the epitome of an Hedonist. These instrumentals were formed to represent beliefs (1-7), reflections (8-15), and marvels (16-21) envisioned from the grisailles of my subconscious. From now on, this sound shall truly become noticeable. Thanks for listening.”

Bryan Hahn is cruising down the highway, wondering where the time went, while listening to these instrumentals. He’s also on Twitter (@notupstate).
