Ray banned? Nope
Josh Gordon, The Cleveland Browns star wide-receiver and the NFL’s 2013-2014 leader in receiving yards, was suspended for the entire 2014-2015 season for testing positive for marijuana. Ray Rice, whose actions are so accurately depicted in new video of his and his wife’s infamous elevator incident, will return to action in Week 3. Back in February, news of Rice’s assault on his wife broke after an argument they’d had at the Revel casino in Atlantic City, and in March, Rice was indicted on charges of aggravated assault, and shortly after, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell issued the 2-game suspension, which he later admitted was not the right move.
Social media is already calling for Rice to be banned from the NFL not just for the upcoming season, but for life. Let’s see if Goodell has a change of heart in light of this new video.
