Lil’ Kim has laid in wait for her just due as she’s made her return to the Hip-Hop scene over the past couple years, and with her Hardcore mixtape, which will be out tonight, she’s staking her claim, and stepping back into the ring. Now that Remy Ma–who was released from jail earlier this summer–Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj are all in rotation, Kim is making sure she joins the conversation, and it’s hard to argue with “Real Sick”.

Jadakiss, Kim’s fellow NY rhyme-spitter, tags along for the ride as the two trade bars over–what else?–a bouncy Hip-Hop beat that samples both Diddy Puff Daddy and Notorious B.I.G. Talk about fitting. Kim’s Hardcore tape, whose artwork plays on her iconic Hardcore album, which was released in 1996, and is widely regarded as a classic album. The tape was supposed to be released at 9:11, but hopefully it still drops tonight. Either way, we’ll be waiting.
