Wiz Khalifa talks to the Source following a big-time performance at Ad Week
In case you missed it, Wiz Khalifa headlined a private Advertising Week XI show dubbed The Wrap Up Party, presented by The Source this past Thursday, which also served as a celebration of his Power 30/SOURCE360 2014 cover. Following the performance, in waht was his first interview since divorcing wife Amber Rose Wiz Khalifa chatted with the writer of his recent source cover story, Spencer Stein backstage. In the casual convo he spoke about his next single, “You & Your Friends,”–the video for which he describes as “real fun”–what his good friends Curren$y and Big Sean are up to this 4th quarter, how he come across music on the internet (a la Dej Loaf), and more. We lightly tossed him a question that was meant to imply something along the lines of “anything to say re: Amber?” which he–quite literally–bobbed and weaved around, reminding his fans that his pictures are very inspirational, and it’s very important to stretch.
