The dark comedy play “Hand to God” will make its way to the Broadway stage this Spring.  “Hand to God” runs at Ensemble Studio Theatre and MCC Theater and will soon come to the Booth Theatre opening on April 7th 2015.  Written by Robert Askins and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, “Hand to God” tells the story about a man named Jason who is part of a Christian Puppet Ministry in Cyprus, Texas.  His life is soon turned upside down when he discovers that his hand puppet, Tyrone, develops a personality of his own, and this puppet’s personality is meant to be as offensive as possible.  The complete MCC Theater cast will join the production on Broadway and the cast is made up of Steven Boyer as Jason and Tyrone, Geneva Carr as Margery, Marc Kudisch as Pastor Greg, Sarah Stiles as Jessica, and Michael Oberholtzer as Timmy.  Previews for the show will also begin on March 12, 2015.
