North Carolina continues to put on for Hip-Hop. This time, 006Set’s Frais releases a new project that greatly differs from the harsher vibes of Digital Flames. Emerald Bay is much more West coast inspired with its laid back production, while staying true to Frais’ roots of less than picturesque upbringing. Although it only weighs in at 8 tracks, it features enough solid production and guest appearances to make it feel like an LP.
