No big sister for North
Back in August, reality TV star Kim Kardashian visited an orphanange in the Phang Nga province of, the same province in which thousands of people lost their lives during the tragic tsunamis of 2004. While Kardashian was there, she connected with a 13-year old girl, Pink. According to an Elite Daily report, when Pink first found out Kim wanted to adopt her, she was boiling over with excitement.
When I found out she wanted to adopt me, I was shaking. I was so excited. It would be such a change of life for me.
However, when push came to shove, Pink decided to stay with her friends at the orphanage.
Everyone wants to have a different or a better life, I suppose. But when I thought about it I realised it wouldn’t be good for me, because I would have to leave so much behind. I wasn’t ready for that.
Pretty mature for a 13-year old orphan, huh? We’re not sure if her name is actually Pink or if she’s being referred to as Pink because of the color of the shirt she wore during photographs, but Pink or not. Don’t lose that spunk, kid.
