Karl Lagerfeld has just unveiled more details about his forthcoming CHANEL film starring Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne, which is set to premiere at the Métiers d’art collection in Salzburg next week. It is safe to say that it will feature a new song that Cara and Pharrell have been working on together. The film is titled Reincarnation and it takes us down memory lane with the history of the iconic CHANEL jacket. Other stars starring in the film include Lady Amanda Harlech, models Baptiste Giabiconi and Heidi Mount and six-year-old Hudson Kroenig.
The story line goes something like this: While holidaying in Austria, Gabrielle Chanel (played by Geraldine Chaplin) is inspired by the jacket worn by her hotel’s elevator operator (Pharrell Williams). In an extended dream sequence, Pharrell is reincarnated as Franz Joseph I, the Emperor of Austria, while Delevingne plays his wife, Empress Elisabeth “Sisi” of Austria.
