Darren Wilson speaks ABC less than a day after landmark grand jury announcement

Late last night, at approximately 9:30PM EST, St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch made the grand jury announcement that was heard around the world: Darren Wilson will not be indicted. Less than 12 hours after the announcement, Wilson sat down with news anchor George Stephanopoulos for a tell-all interview, in which “no question was off-limits” according to the ABC reporter.

Stephanopoulos leaked some snippets of the interview to Twitter, which feature Wilson making public statements for the first time since the day of the shooting, which was back in August. According to Stephanopoulos, who teased the interview, Wilson says he “would not have done anything differently,” and that he did “what he was trained to do.” Furthermore, Wilson says he’s sorry for the “loss of life” but has a “clean conscience,” concerning the shooting. The rest of the interview will air tonight on Nightline on ABC.
