Backstreet Boys Announce New Documentary “Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of”

“Tell me why”…it took so long to make a Backstreet Boys documentary.

To commemorate the Backstreet Boy’s 20-year anniversary, Gravitas Ventures will be opening the Backstreet Boys documentary in theaters  on January 30th 2015. Directed by Stephen Kijak, the documentary stats all five original members of the group, who co-produced the film along with Mia Bays. Filmed over the course of 2 years, “Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of” openly examines the group’s fame, fortune, betrayal and renewal as well confronting many of the old and new obstacles they face. The documentary showcases the groups journey to fame and the memorable experiences they’ve had along the way. Selling over 130 million records internationally, The Backstreet Boys are the best-selling boy band in history. They also made history when their 1999-2000 North American Millennium arena tour sold out within the first hour. The Backstreet Boys are unarguably pop culture icons and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013. The film is also scheduled to make its television debut on “VH1 Rock Docs” in the spring of 2015.
