Drizzy Gon Pay It
Drake has been closely associated with his hometown NBA team the Toronto Raptors ever since being named team ambassador in the fall of 2013. Last night, while at the home Air Canada Centre facing off against the Brooklyn Nets, the Raptors celebrated their 2nd annual Drake Night. All fans in attendance were given celebratory “Drake Night” t-shirts while the rappers music blasted through the arena all night. Drizzy claims that he chose to be honored with the Nets in town after Brooklyn defeated Toronto in a 7 game series last season.
Prior to the game, Drake showed off some of his comedic chops by poking fun at the Raptors when he was given the duties of player introductions. Of course, Drizzy is no stranger to the funny stage, as he hostedSaturday Night Live earlier in the year and successfully hosted this past summer’s Espy Awards. He even took some out to give live play by play action where he flubbed the name of the NBA’s current commissioner Adam Silver, opting to refer to him as Sterling?

All in all, Drake night was a success as the first place Raptors pounced the Nets for the 105-89 victory.
