Zaytoven can’t stop creating. From rising in the ranks of the music business with Gucci Mane, directing two full length movies (Finesse The Movie just came out this past Christmas), fully dedicating a chunk of his time to working with his church as a musician, and still cutting his friends’ and family’s hair, he still has beats on beats on beats for major artists.

He recently announced a joint project with Future titled, Beast Mode, which sounds like it could go, emotionally, in the opposite direction of Monster. But only time will tell. This news comes soon after Usher’s and Zaytoven’s “Still Got It” featuring Migos was released. Zay gave The Source two exclusive quotes on working with Usher and Future, which you can read below. After Migos came out with “Versace,” Usher’s people reached out almost instantly and I sent beats. They liked one and I got Migos on it. We actually did that record 8 months ago.

On Future:

Future has become an international star but where he comes from is the streets and got popular off of street music. And I feel like that’s the position I play in the industry. A lot of rap artists come to me for mixtapes and street music because that’s what I built my name off of.
