7 months later, we (sort of) have a visual

Jeremih has been teasing his Late Nights LP for the better part of 2 years now–he steamrolled through his November 2014 release date without so much as a formal pushback announcement–but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that in the meantime, he’s done some great things. Between his work with Shlomo and more recently, DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj, the Chicago crooner has managed to remain one of R&B’s best kept secrets. His live performance is no joke, either.

A couple months ago, Jeremih admitted that his disappearance from the public eye wasn’t a figment of our imagination. In a chat with Billboard, he explained why his smash hit, “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” was the only song to chart in Billboard’s Top 40 for the entire year of 2014 that didn’t have a music video, and how his celebrity toyed with his personality and tendencies. That being said, at the conclusion of the interview, he admitted that he’d pretty much worked through it, and was ready to embrace his potential superstardom. So, above, you can check out the video for the remix to “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” which features Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana, which was released in September.

All good Jeremih, baby steps.
