Portland Police vow to get to the bottom of this robbery.
All Star votes are in! And so are the picks for the All Star reserves, but Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard didn’t make the All-Star team, and the Portland Police are vowing to get to the bottom of it.
The 2015 All Star reserves were announced on Thursday, and Portland’s 3rd year point guard did not make the roster, despite averaging more points (21.8) and rebounds (4.6) than he did a season ago, when he made his first All-Star appearance; not to mention a whopping 6.2 assists per game.
Out of the West Conference Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Klay Thompson all made the All-Star team over Lillard.
No worries Damien, Portland’s finest is on the case.
The Portland Police have been known to weigh in on the Trail Blazers before via Twitter. In May 2014, they “endorsed theft” when the Blazers came away with a 122-120 Game 1 win over the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs, and earlier this season, the police gave center Robin Lopez permission to watch Star Wars on his phone while he drove to practice.
There’s still a chance Lillard gets named to the All-Star team as an injury replacement for Lakers‘ guard Kobe Bryant, but until then the Portland Police department will be on the case.
