More proof that filming your crimes isn’t entertaining–it gets you caught, quickly.
Justice seemed to come quick for 15 year old Ariana Taylor, who was jumped at a Brooklyn McDonald’s this week. Four out of the six girls who jumped her in the restaurant have been found. Thursday night, 16 year old Aniah Ferguson surrendered to police and her story is not one for a teen. Already, Ferguson has a rap sheet of a career criminal. Her charges range from an assault charge for stabbing her brother in his arm to violating an order of protection against her 64 year old grandmother after beating her up. At the time of her arrest, Ferguson had four outstanding arrest warrants.
The other teens who are in police custody are 17 year old Tilani Marshall, and two 15 year olds whose names have not been released. One of the the teens tried to flee to Jamaica but got caught in Atlanta after someone gave a tip to police. According to NY Daily News, the fight stemmed from a shooting that happened earlier that Taylor may have had involvement in.
The girls, who according to sources are in the gang Young Savages, were hanging out at one of the girl’s homes when they got a tip that Taylor, who has ties with the 30 Crips Gang was in McDonald’s with a friend. The teens got to the restaurant and told a friend of Taylor if she jumps in they will beat her up too. When Taylor was trying to leave, that is when the fight pursued.
If convicted, Ferguson could face 25 years in prison. It’s unsure of the fate of the other girls.
