Already being dubbed as “2 Chainz Night“, Mr. Tauheed Epps will be performing three times in front of a live crowd in the Phillips Arena. In addition, the first 5,000 fans who get to the arena will receive copies of his latest mixtape entitled T.R.U. Jack City.
When asked about his thoughts of this upcoming event, the Def Jam recording artist went on by saying this;
As an Atlantan, I’m excited to collaborate with my beloved Hawks on March 27 as they face off against the Miami Heat. The Hawks have been ‘TRU to Atlanta’ this season so it’s only right that we come out to support.
Gearing up for 2 Chainz Night, the Hawks turned to Twitter to give it’s fan a valid proof of how truuuu the rumor is about this upcoming event.

The Hawks aren’t new to creating interesting events to reel in some more fans, as they continue to do a great job gaining a huge fan base off the court via Twitter. Besides having one of the best records in the Eastern Conference and clinching a playoff birth, the Atlanta Hawks been very innovative with the event theme column, in which many of the other NBA franchises have happened to follow suit.
Earlier in the season, the Hawks had a Tinder night where they made fans use their Tinder account to meet one another while game is in play. Along with the matchmaking, there were t-shirt giveaways, love connection games and major active social media participation as fans Twitpic their matches who believed were the ones for them. By 2 Chainz partnering with the Hawks to have his own night, will continue Hotlanta’s winning streak on and off the court as they are proving to fans nationwide that the people in ATL knows how to win and turn up in successful fashion. In addition, it brings their name to the table amongst NBA franchises whose hometown rappers stepped in to represent and support them during game night. With Drake representing his hometown squad of the Toronto Raptors and Jay-Z showing why the Nets will forever go hard in Brooklyn, it’s 2 Chainz’s turn to show fans how different it really is for the fan experience in the A. 2 Chainz, the ball, spotlight and mic is on your court. Make it count.
