Mo’ne Davis is living proof that dreams really do come true.
If you don’t know who Mo’ne Davis is, she is an American Little League pitcher from Pennsylvania. She’s one of two girls to play in the 2014 Little League World Series, and the first African American girl. She also landed a cover on Sports Illustrated as the first Little League Player on the cover. Mo’ne made several accomplishments, and broke many barriers, and she’s only 13! Which makes her an ideal role model for the youth.
As Disney makes moves to be more racially diverse, they take another step in that direction by making Mo’ne the subject of a new Disney Channel Movie called “Throw Like Mo”. I have no doubt that Disney will do Mo’ne’s remarkable story justice.
