Tasha the Amazon brings her unique brand of hip hop to this week’s episode of The Signal.
She’s become notorious for her on-stage antics, her wild child lyrics, and for taking a full-grown tiger on a walk through downtown Toronto (she was shooting a video), but it’s none of those things that define Tasha the Amazon and her artistry. The Toronto-based German and Jamaican rapper/producer is better known for what she brings to the table–the aggressive lyricism and emphatic delivery. Her fierce approach to hip hop has earned her a spot on stage performing with the likes of Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and The Roots, and this week, it’s also earned her a spot on The Signal.
