The “Just A Friend” artist, Biz Markie, turns 51 today
The California born/Long Island bred rapper, beatboxer, DJ, comedian, singer, actor, and reality television personality Marcel Theo Hall turns 51 today. Better known by his stage name, Biz Markie is still reaping the success of his “Just A Friend” smash hit two decades later.
These days he is promoting a healthy lifestyle. He has been a brand ambassador for Zevia soda. He told The Huffington Post about his transformation. Recently having lost over 140 pounds, he credits a balanced diet, exercise, and consuming sugar free soda to his weight loss. It started after a health scare that came from diabetes, but he is thankful he is doing well today.
