Imagine watching your local nightly news, and seeing yourself on a video being raped. That is what happened to the victim of the alleged gang rape in Panama City, Florida during spring break.
According to CNN, the victim, whose name has not been released, identified herself as the girl on the video of the rape thanks to her tattoos. After identifying herself, the victim contacted authorities, who plan on showing the victim the full video to see if she identifies anyone.
Troy University students Ryan Calhoun and Delonte Martistee have been arrested and charged with sexual battery. Calhoun was released Saturday on $50,000 post bond, while Martistee remains in Bay County Jail. Both have been placed on “temporary suspension” from the university. There is a warrant out for a third person, and a fourth is wanted for questioning.
The attack is believed to have taken place between March 10th and March 12th behind a popular bar called Spinnaker Beach Club. The victim says she remembers drinking at a place called Camelbak, and believes she was drugged there.
