Thomas has a blog named Jawbreaker NYC, and she’s admitted to living up to its name
Blood Sweat and Heels cast member Geneva Thomas pled guilty today to assaulting fellow cast member Melyssa Ford. This past Fall, Ms. Thomas brutally assaulted Ms. Ford by smashing a glass bottle over her head while filming the Bravo reality show. The show was produced by Leftfield Entertainment.
Ms. Ford was taken to the emergency room and treated for serious injuries. Ms. Ford has yet to speak publicly about the attack. Ms. Thomas was arrested and charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Yesterday, Ms. Thomas pled guilty to a lesser charge of assault in the third degree and received 10 days of community service – a shockingly lenient sentence considering the nature of the attack and the injuries to Ms. Ford.
Bravo has not yet offered a public statement on the incident. The network has become known for numerous types of controversial shows involving a pattern of violence occurring on set such as The Real Housewives franchises, Vanderpump Rules and now Blood, Sweat and Heels. As of today, Bravo’s website still lists Ms. Thomas as a cast member – it will be interesting to see if Bravo continues the relationship now that Ms. Thomas has admitted to engaging in violent criminal conduct on their set.
Ms. Thomas will be back in court in July to face charges that she attempted to ditch a NYC taxi after refusing to pay a $17 cab fare.
Prior to her role on Blood, Sweat and Heels, Thomas worked at Vibe Magazine.
