It’s a surprise Yeezy appearance for the Weeknd at weekend 2
The Weeknd, an early pioneer of the falsetto, druggy, eerie R&B now known as Toronto’s signature sound, owned weekend 1 at Coachella with a resounding performance, and last night things got bigger and better. After performing a cover of Kanye West‘s “Heartless,” Weeknd transitioned straight into “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” at which point Kanye–who, as we know, performed a set at Coachella in 2011 that has since reached almost mythical status–waltzed out and went straight into his 2007 hit.

Ye didn’t leave the stage without letting loose with two other cuts: “Black Skinhead” and “All Day.” Watch footage above and below.
