Florida authorities are investigating a tragic incident yesterday in which a 3-year old boy shot his 1-year old sister in the face in front of Venice’s Sonshine Learning Center. The siblings were reportedly left unattended in the parking lot outside the institution. Apparently, the boy’s mother carries a licensed gun, but how her son got his hands on it, and to school premises, remains unknown.

Authorities are still trying to determine whether or not criminal charges will be filed. Thankfully, the girl is expected to survive.
