The 14-year-old prospect is already on college coaches radar. In true “like father, like son” fashion, there is another young hoop star who is proving to scouts nationwide that he can ball with the best of the best despite the last name he possesses. NBA legend and Inside The NBA anchor Shaquille O’neal is amongst the list whose kid can ball and has the potential to be a true stud on the next level. His 14-year-old son, Shareef O’neal has been catching college coaches eyes left and right during the AAU circuit. Hooping for AAU basketball team called California Supreme, the 6’8 big man was able to showcase his abilities to knock down three’s, handle the rock and throw it down in true “Big Shaqtus” form. Only a freshman at Windward High School in Los Angeles, Shareef was able to receive a Division I scholarship offer from the University of Southern California Trojans basketball program. Not bad for a kid who isn’t old enough to go for their drivers permit.
