Cleveland quarterback Johnny Manziel made headlines again over the weekend by throwing a water bottle in the direction of a heckler at the Four Seasons Hotel in Irving, Texas. He was attending the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Classic. The heckler seem to be an 18-year old fan looking for an autograph from the Heisman Trophy-winning QB for about 2 hours.
Manziel threw a water bottle at the man, an 18-year-old. Things escalated. Hotel security intervened, then police also intervened…

Police did not detect that Manziel had been drinking. Fan decided not to press charges. No charges filed. Details http://t.co/A1spnCe844.

Jerry Flowers of ESPN reported that the fan tried to grab Manziel and give him some “advice.” Manziel picked the wrong time to be in the news. After a terrible rookie season and a stint in rehab for alcoholism Manziel can’t afford for any slip ups. Manziel will try and win the starting job from Josh McCown during training camp.
