‘The Voice’ Ex-Contestant Dies From Suicide By Hanging

Anthony Riley ‘The Voice’ ex-contestant was found dead Friday in what appears to be suicide

Anthony Riley, a 28-year-old Philadelphia street performer, left the show ‘The Voice’ in January to deal with substance abuse issues. A close friend of Riley’s told Philly.com his body was discovered in the basement of the apartment where he had been staying.

‘The Voice’ host Carson Daly posted a message about Rile saying,

Praying for the family and friends of Anthony Riley today. It’s a heartbreaking loss. He was incredibly talented and loved to sing. God Bless him.”
