On June 2nd, many stars gathered at the The Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Gala.
The Gordon Parks Foundation honors talents from creative fields such as writing, acting, painting etc., who have dedicated their lives to art. At this past gala Usher, JR, Thornton Dial, and Laurent Claquin were all honored with awards. Co-Chairs included Alicia Keys, Karl Lagerfeld, and Kaseem ‘Swizz Beatz” Dean. George Lucas and Mellody Hobson were presented with the first Gordon Parks Patron of the Arts Award. Other guests and presenters included Hill Harper, Aimee Mullins and Pharrell Williams.
