NFL fans have a reason to get very excited this year, thanks to a deal the NFL has struck with Yahoo!. Effectively, they’ve taken the Bills vs. Jaguars off cable television. and brought it to the internet. The October 25th regular season match-up between the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars The first ever game to be streamed online will be located only on Yahoo. This is significant because this might be the start of something new.  Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole explains that the television contracts end at the end of the 2020 season. This might now include players such as Hulu, Netflix, and Tidal as contenders to take some of the games away from the powers of ESPN, Fox, and CBS.
