LaMarcus Aldridge Is Done Trailblazing

The All-Star and franchise player is reportedly shipping out

LaMarcus Aldridge has reportedly already informed the only NBA team he’s ever played for, the Portland Trailblazers, that he will not be returning to the team. Aldridge, who just wrapped up his 9th NBA season, has been named an All-Star for 4 consecutive seasons, and averaged a career-best 23.4 points per game this season, which was his second consecutive season averaging at least 23 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t equaled any playoff success for the Blazers, who were ousted in the first round this year by the Houston Rockets. As Aldridge enters his 10th season, he undoubtedly feels that he can’t win right away in Portland, and is exploring other options. Reportedly, Los Angeles is currently his frontrunner destination, but don’t rule out New York.
