The energetic single is an up-tempo anthem for everyone who needs some motivation for their day. “In the song, we are basically saying whatever you do don’t be afraid to have fun and shine. When asked what he thinks about people’s criticism of Spike Lee’s upcoming film, “Chiraq” Pohhla says: “I don’t think the criticism should necessarily be directed at Spike Lee because we don’t even know the story line yet. My issue over the past years has been in the idea that so many people have accepted the nickname given to our city and are embracing it. I’m afraid they are thinking this kind of violence is normal. Everyone is running around with a gun, everyone wants to be known as the shooter but we’re causing our own genocide in the process.”
