New York Knicks perennial All-Star Carmelo Anthony had a rough year during the 2014-2015 season. Not only did the Knicks suffer through an abysmal season, losing a franchise record 65 games. Under the tutelage of Phil Jackson, things began to look all the more hazy when Iman Shumpert and JR Smith were traded away to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The duo eventually went on to help LeBron James make another run to the finals.
Tonight, (Nov. 4), the Melo and the Knicks are set to take on the Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans arena and prior to gametime, Anthony told the Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News that he feels Smith and Shumpert were “stolen” from him by LeBron.
I would love to play against my brothers. It seems like LeBron took all my family from me.
Ironically enough, both Smith and Shumpert will not suit up for tonight’s game due to injury.
Well, at least the Knicks look promising this year. – Rocko Rathon (@Rocko_CNK)
