During the last quarter of 2014, late West Coast underground legend The Jacka of The Mob Figaz & DJ Child of Project Groundation (the newest signed artist to The Jacka’s “Artist Records” label) dropped what would be The Jacka’s last release during his lifetime, “What Happenened To The World” The Street Album. The album was received with critical acclaim, many calling it one of the best albums of Jacka’s prolific career. Now, for the last quarter of 2015, DJ Child has brought to the public his long awaited debut solo production album “Mash Out Babylon” starring The Jacka & Husalah of The Mob Figaz with features from M1 of Dead Prez, Freeway (State Property) & Grammy-Nominated reggae artist Jahdan Blakkamoore (Snoop Lion, Major Lazer etc.), as well as some of the Bay Area’s hottest rappers such as Dru Down, Joe Blow, Bandaide of The Hoodstars, Lil Blood, Street Knowledge, Ampichino & many more. Mastered by the legendary multi-platinum engineer Mike Denten (Tupac, Too Short, E-40, The Luniz) at his Infinite Studios, “Mash Out Babylon” is already being dubbed as a classic to The Jacka’s extensive catalogue.
