A Florida man is in jail after he shot and killed a woman while preparing to have sex with her. According to HLN, 21-year-old Tyrone Fields shot and killed 18-year-old Christina Meagher while role playing before sex.
Fields met Meagher two days prior to her death at a hotel, and planned a rendezvous with the teenager. Fields told police that he and Meagher were preparing to have sex when Meagher took his gun and proceeded to point it to her head. Fields then states that he thought he’d taken all the bullets out of his gun before he pulled the trigger, but that was apparently not the case. A bullet hit Meagher in the head.
Fields called 911 immediately after the shooting, and Meagher was rushed to the hospital where she died of her gunshot wound. Fields has maintained his innocence, and insists that he and Meagher were role playing when the gun went off.
After the shooting, a sexual battery examination showed no signs of injuries. Fields is being held on $30,000 bond at Hillsborough County Jail and is being charged with manslaughter.
