A Dallas woman has been charged in the death of a 22-year-old woman after giving her illegal butt injections in St. Louis.
According to Black America Web, 44-year-old Nitica Deonte Lee has been charged with first degree involuntary manslaughter after she injected 22-year-old Daysha Phillips with illegal silicone in her buttocks, causing her death.
Lee traveled to St. Louis to perform the surgery, and after receiving the injections, she began having respiratory problems and was rushed to the hospital. After being on life support, Phillips died four days later on July 30 of silicone pulmonary embolism, a blood clot that makes its way to the lungs and blocks the blood vessel.
Lee’s bond is $200,000 and she faces 7Â years in prison if convicted.
